3m tape

Default 3m tape
I had to remove a carbon fiber trim piece from the dash. I want to reinstall it can’t find the thin 3m double sided tape that was used. I would appreciate if someone knows what it is.

3M VHB. my bodyman filled me in on it years ago. You won't find it anywhere but online or through body work suppliers.

The 3M tape will serve you well. Check to see if a good, local body shop
can get you some of the tape.

Grainger sells it in Canada. Maybe they do in the USA, too?

Avoid the Walmart 3M double sided tape that is labeled "Super Strength". The tape is dark gray in color, where the recommended VHB tape is black.
