A fellow enthusiast on FB posted a few pics of his new Z06 which included this pic of the hood. I like the look. Ill be ordering my car soon … but cant find this stripe offered by Chevy. The original ‘poster ‘ told me it was OE.
Has anyone here ordered this stripe? Id appreciate any info y’all can provide. Thx!
Select "Build", then "Coupe or HTC", then "Trim", then "Exterior" for the color, choose color and scroll down to "Top Stripes & Graphics", the top right side choice is "Full Length Dual Racing Stripes, Carbon Flash with Red accent".

10-4. But I did not see this one. Did I miss it? I’ll try again. Thx!

I was able to do the build, it included the photo of the '24 Z06 with the stripe exactly as the one you posted.
Of course, your photo is real and the one on the build is simulated but it doesn't make any difference. Also, if you do the build and want to see the actual 3-characted order code you 'have' to print it to see the order codes.

I just walked through the build as you described. The stripe as shown in the configurator is not the same as the pic I posted. The pic below is what the configurator gives me. Not the same.
Are you saying that what you receive is not the same as what is pictured when you order?

My bad, you are right. This is the first time ever I've made a mistake.
Actually, I took a shortcut and didn't bother to compare the photos side by side, although comparing them now the OE stripe's red portion is not overwhelming, and it seems to me the OE's has a classier more subtle and conventional design.
I believe most stripes are installed in the factory but there are exceptions like the 'Jake Hood Decal with Tech Bronze Accent' which is dealer installed. There might be others.
My wife ordered 24 Stingray 2LT Red Mist with Carbon stripes silver outline. I’m confused by which stripe we’re going to get. The first pic is the GM configure stripe, Carbon with Silver outline all around. When selecting stripe option notice these shown in the online options the (small pic illustration) is the 23 and older stripe as it goes down the nose oppose to stopping short (24 Stripe).
The OP shows a different stripe that I found on multiple 24s that is identical on a few cars for sale in stock as factory window sticker shows GM stripes. I figured GM site was incorrect then found a new listing with a stripe version NEAR identical our configure photo above BUT this is Silver with Black outline which appears on window sticker as GM stripe. The puzzling thing is this color stripe is NOT an option online builder.. See listing below

I went to the museum today. There was a white one with the center hood stripe and it looked very cool. Not sure I like the stripe on all colors, but this one looked great.

Not sure what is going on, dealer has call into GM rep. Nobody knows which stripe we’re going to get but proves GM made multiple designs.
Not sure I followed all that. Are you saying you have seen new ‘24’s that have the stripe as pictured in the original post? If so, is it possible to track down order details/info so we know exactly what was ordered? Thx.

Yeah a bunch of them on cars.com with stripes like OP posted and some just like my rendering but in different colors. I took the photos and VIN numbers to my dealer today showed them both styles that varied greatly. They are coded the same, dealer suggested I called the Corvette Concierge but they were no help. If I had a car completed then they would look into my request. In the nicest way possible they don’t look into hypothetical situations. I reminded them I have a car on order and they should be able to tell me what my stripe will look like….useless they don’t care.
I went through the configurator again today. Pic below is what it came up with this time. It’s different that both previously posted pics. WTH? If I order the stripe, Id kinda like to know what I’m getting.

I agree the Chevy website shows fine fine outline all around. Then same code for stripe shows what I call hockey stripe outline as silver portion of stripe gets bigger at the point looks bad IMO.
