Default Heated seats

Have a 2022 3lt vert. Not sure my heated seats are working properly. They don’t get that warm compared to other cars that have heated seats. Seems like only the bottom seat cushion. Should the seat back cushion get warm? I can’t tell the difference from low ,med or high. The steering wheel gets nice and warm very quickly.

My C7 heated seats never have got as warm as those in the Impala I had but they do get warm enough to feel good. And I would hope that both the seat and back areas are heated.

My 2023 C8 seats get too hot for me if on the highest setting. I find the lowest setting (1 light bar showing), is the most comfortable for me.

Do your seat backs get warm? Mine don’t get too hot at all. Back to the dealer

Default Same for me

My Fords get hot enough to act as stool softeners but the Vette not so much.

Not terrible but not real hot. I always have to tap-tap-tap to get it on the hottest setting on a Michigan cold weather morning.

Yep C7s took a long time (~10 minutes) before I had to turn down from full to minimum.) The C8 only takes about two to 3 minutes same cold temps when I turn down from max.

Now in NE SC we seldom get below freezing when I need to drive. In addition, the car is in an attached garage so usually above 40F when we have a 20F night.

The GT2 seats in my 23 take a long time to heat up. The heated steering wheel on the other hand, that thing gets hot almost instantly.

My cooled/ventilated seats in the vette do not work good at all. Used them on the way home from buying the car back in Oct and it was warm outside. Caught myself checking all the way home to see if they were even working at all. My 23 GMC truck however will freeze your whole backside and butt. Have not tried the heated seats in the vette yet but I remote started it this past sunday and it was cool out and the steering wheel was toasty when I got inside the car. Rather that not come on automatically so I guess I need to go find that setting to turn that off if possible.

The heated seats in my C8 (and C7) work OK but not as fast or hot as my other vehicles.

I believe you can turn it off.

also the cooled seats in the Vette are only air - no cooling so it will just blow air out whatever temp the air in the car is

Yea I figured that out later. My truck has dedicated cooling vents under the seats. Truck has that kind of room the car does not.

My 2023 works just fine in our normally mild winter weather. The Auto setting works great, starting on high then decreasing the temps till it finally shuts off.

Don’t think it would work as well up north where it gets really cold. Thank goodness I don’t have to find out.
