That Ferrari looks much easier to detail.

But I love the C8.

My Ferrari engine would kill my enemies to be that clean, ditto for my C8.

The big difference with the the Ferrari vs. C8 engine compartment is that Ferrari dresses up the functional parts of the engine and Chev just puts a plastic cover over it.

Have my 360 set up with Challenge Stradale TCU tuned to perfection on a Launch 431.
it’s really a track car detuned for the road , but it’s 23 year old technology. I love it .
I love my C5 Z51 and my C8 Z51.
I am a blessed man who does all his own maintenance.
love them all

I really don't get the appeal of the clear HTC cover.

You're not seeing an engine, like in the Ferrari. You're seeing a plastic cover.

I don't pay attention to either of the two cars's engine compartments. Only time I see either one is when I open the rear hatch to put something in the trunk.

It lets me prove that there really is an engine in there!

Both look good - but from a visual standpoint I would say the C8, even with plastic covers, looks better to me.

In the picture of the coupe, I'm seeing a lot more of the engine (even with the plastic cover in the middle). In the Ferrari pic, all I'm basically seeing is the plenum on top of the engine.
