After I run my car and track mode somewhat hard I turn it off and something is making noise in the rear end when the car is off is that like an oil cooler or something?
I’m waiting for it to go off. It sounds like some kind of motor of some kind ignition is off.
I would imagine it might be the cooling fans now when I turn the engine off nothing no noise

Likely the fan in the drivers side vent behind the door. Takes about 5 minutes for this to shut off after I run at the track.
thank you this is actually the first time I’ve driven it in track mode. I just turned 900 miles, so I was not aware of that sound. Got to be the cooling fans but I’m like WTF……lol
Here is what the service manual says about engine compartment cooling fan system. Its operation does not appear to be specific to track mode use, but rather based on engine compartment temperature sensor.
"The engine compartment cooling fan system is composed of two electric cooling fan motor and control module assemblies. The integral motor and
module is a solid-state device with a driver capable of handling the high current demands of the fan motor. The under-hood air temperature sensor
is an input to the fuel pump driver control module. The engine control module (ECM) and fuel pump driver control module communicate via serial
data. The ECM uses the under-hood air temperature sensor to determine the desired engine compartment fan speed which in turn is communicated
to the fuel pump driver control module."
I find that it can come on after the engine is shut off, and run for a short period of time.

yes agree has nothing to do with track mode, has to do with engine bay temp.
