Season greetings C8 family !
Since I took delivery of my C8 , I have been trying to clean some type of film/ glue from the inside of my windshield. I've tried basic soap/water, glass cleaner, alcohol. Nothing has worked. Anyone out there have advice on this ?
PB Blaster is my go-to for stubborn residue or adhesives on glass. Spray it on a paper towel, and hold the paper towel against the glass and let it soak on there for a few minutes.

Thanks in advance
Don't care where the adhesive or hard to remove film is: this 3M product, available in automotive paint stores is what I use. When I was using a "suction cup" mount for my radar detector found cleaning the windshield where it would placed was the key to never having it let lose. **
** Note, the heavy Escort Passport Max never came lose when driving my two C7s and C8 for ~9 years. But if parked facing the sun on a very hot day, what air was left in the large "Sticky Mount Cup" did get very hot and a couple of times on 100+ degree days (we can get in NE SC,) only when parked it could come lose. I added a very thin stainless braded wire (fishing leader) as a Tether, Will use the same 10 year old detector on my E-Ray, now at 3000.
Just checked, $31 on Amazon. Typical 3M, not cheap but works. Quote: "3M™ Adhesive Remover lets you quickly remove adhesive, attachment tape, tar and wax from your vehicle's painted surfaces without harmful scraping tools or abrasives. This easy-to-use blend of solvents won't harm most automotive paint surfaces and also works on glass or vinyl.

Question, is it on the passenger side around the rear-view mirror area. Seems like a fog looking from the outside, driver's side?
It's on the inside of windshield. Both sides has got a haze on it!! I've tried soap and water rag like a friend used on his C8, WD40 , PB Blaster, and several other window cleaners !! I can still see this haze/ substance if I'm driving facing the sun !! 😡😡😡😡
