My OEM Corvette battery tender just died. I need to get a quick replacement. Was just going to get one from Amazon. Any suggestions on a good one? I believe the Corvette one is made by CTEK. Looks a little different but basically the same.

CTEK is a good one and if you need it really fast, the GM version can be purchased through your local dealer. Otherwise, the forum vendors can probably get one to you quickly.
You can also try a Deltran Battery Tender Plus - I used one of these on my C5s and it worked flawlessly. If you have a BatteriesPlus store nearby, I think they sell them.
I have a couple of plain CTEK's and a couple of the MXS 5.0 that I use on my 911 and C8. I like the 5.0. FWIW, I have been using CTEK's for over 25 years and participated in their Beta testing program - have never had a issue with any of them.....

Seeing a picture of the CTEK is does appear about the same as the GM version. I've used Deltran Battery Tender for years, not sure they make a version that plugs in the front of a C8 instead of attaching to the battery as in my other cars.
Battery Tender Jr's. Been using a long time on various cars. Works just fine. Had a battery last ten years with the tender on over the winter. No need for an expensive one in my opinion.
DieHard smart charger , $30 at Wally World, comes with eyelet pigtail, plug type wires for the C8 Frunk and one other. I had to replace my first one after 7-8 years. Worked fine on my C6z and now my C8Z.
I got the NOCO Genius 5 from Amazon. Got good reviews and I like it. They also have the CTEK if you want one more like what GM offers as an accessory.
From what I just read, NOCO seems like the way to go. Do you know if the Corvette CTEK charger cigarette plug will fit the NOCO plug? Are they all universal?
If you really want a Ctek don't buy the GM version because it is a cheap version of what they make. By one of their better ones for less $$ that has more features (Amazon, etc.). I used to have all Ctek but found them to be real sensitive to voltage surges even though I have a major surge protector on my maim panel that rendered them useless. Switched over to NOCO and they have been much better for about the same cost. Spend a little more for the ones that have more features.

Not NO - but Hell NO.
Had one of their cheap $5 maintainer chargers that I kept hooked up to a spare battery I kept around for misc uses. One day - it decided to start putting out nearly 15 volts. It fried that battery.....
As the old expression goes - "You get what you pay for" (or sometimes less). YMMV.

I have a couple of older Harbor Freight trickle chargers. And they are just that - trickle chargers. I don't use them much anymore. They will boil batteries if kept on long enough.
You can get "decent" battery maintainers for cheap on eBay but I only use them on my generator, boat battery, etc. I used to have a "good" maintainer but it met an untimely death. I don't keep my C8 on a maintainer but I rarely go more than a week without driving it.
