C8 backorder items
I took delivery of my C8 without the ordered and paid for battery tender and Contoured Liner Protection Package. Does anyone know if there is a telephone number available to call get the status on these items? I was informed by the dealer that backorder items just show up at the parts department without prior notice. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

The dealer is right about those items just show up when the become available. However your dealer can call the CVO where the parts come from and give them the last 8 of your vin number and get an outdate. Do not go to your salesman go to the dealership parts department and ask them to check on your items.

Looking at the window sticker the CLPP is a dealer installed item, meaning GM does not ship the part with the car while the battery tender even though is not shown as a dealer installed item it might be on the same predicament. I wait a month and follow your suggestion. Thank you.

I am looking at it as the glass half full rather than the glass half empty. To a certain extent, the backorder delay is OK since I get to keep the standard factory floor mats which normally dealers get to keep.

Just sold it waiting for my E-Ray and put the Natural Tan mats in their original sealed plastic in the Frunk! As soon as I know when my car will be built, hopefully soon as it's been at 3000 for a while, I'll order Jake floor mats and some other things like the brand of PDR SD Card and thumb drive for music. Already bought tire valve covers with pics oo cactus to match my Cacti interior!

My car was delivered in February 2022 and I had to wait almost a month for the Jake mats. I also didn't have any luck trying to get the parts department to check on them. They just told me that they would call me when they arrived.
