Well, we are into the 5th model year of production & over 100,000 C8's on the road, eventually there would be new cars in stock for sale on the lot

Good for them. I hope they sell them all.
I hope the dealers that charged over MSRP have C8's stay in the showroom forever. Let them enjoy the view.
I guess there are some great deals coming in Spring.

Yep Ciocca has about the same number available NOW. All are listed at MSRP.

Have followed Kerbeck (now Ciocca) inventory and discounts from when I bought my C6 from them. Typically, had >150 new Vettes in stock, all discounted. Recall when I bought my Grand Sport in Winter 2017 they had, as usual, increased their inventory when many dealers stopped ordering from BG. They had ~250 new Vettes in stock and were getting ready for Spring. It also helped BG avoid or limit the number of expensive Layoffs as they make NO Cars for inventory. They offered deeper discounts in Winter that reduced when Spring arrived. I got a ~15% discount as that was being offered for cars in stock. Mine like all 6 (and the E-Ray on order) were made to my specs at BG.

Yep with inflation, high car loan interest, demand is reducing!

Getting like the "old days" where supply exceeded demand.

Absolutely. When dealers don't order all available allocations, any dealer can then order C8's. As I understand that has been the case for these last years BUT all allocations were filled.

Once that is the case, the "big guys" will start to discount to sell their inventory. Looking that the Inventory already at Ciocca and MM we're not that far way.

Inflation and high auto interest rates are reducing demand.

Ciocca has several 3LTs. But as expected most 1LT and 2LT. As in the past Kerbeck had many 1LT standard shifts because they were the cheapest. Some folks are stretching the budget to get a Corvette.

It was bound to happen at some point where dealers would have cars in stock that are available for a buyer to just come in and buy it that day. As mentioned, with inflation eating away at purchasing power and high loan interest rates, it can’t be long before discounts below MSRP happen.

I guess there are some great deals coming in Spring.

I think that the same thing will happen to Corvettes that is now happening with pickup trucks. The "over MSRP" arbitrary dealer markups (gouging?) is going to soon fade away. Dealerships have a heck of a lot of unsold inventory - from what my friends in the USA are telling me - and the car market is finally slowing down. The C8 is no longer the 'new kid on the block' and the 30k surcharges will soon be a sad relic of the past. We are heading into an election year with political instability, inflation, high interest rates and a potential recession. Economic uncertainty will cause people to be a little more diligent with their money - particularly with a "luxury" item such as a Corvette.

Over here in Germany, the new car dealerships seem to have a decent inventory - but I have yet to see a Chevrolet dealership here. Even Opel is no longer part of General Motors. I have yet to see a C8 here, though. I know that GM builds an "export" model, but they're probably rarer than hen's teeth.

While a Corvette would be nice to have on the wonderful Autobahn, we're going to have to settle for our 2021 Mazda CX-30 and keep it under 160 kph (about 100 mph). It's still fun to watch the 7-Series BMWs, Porsches and Audi S7s fly by as if I am sitting still. There is a local German guy who has a C6 and an American dude on base owns a red C7. Corvettes of any vintage are not very common here.

Keep it real over there in USA, folks!! We are scheduled to return to the States in the summer of 2025.

Based on last weeks auction prices at Mecum (I was there), new and very, very low mileage C8's including the Z06's were selling at or below MSRP..... or they didn't sell at all. That included 2 70th Anniversary Z06 HTC's.

We are now back to 'real world' supply and demand pricing.

In my opinion the build volume will shift to E-Rays vs Stingrays and Z06's since they represent the latest and greatest.

Anyone now paying over MSRP needs a reality check. Discounts will soon be the norm.... In the mean time enjoy and drive your C8....

All of those are shown as available for reservation but Have Not Been Produced Yet. No estimated arrival dates are given.

They only have 3 C8s in the showroom, two are ZO6 Coupes.

I saw the first C8 at MSRP on a dealer’s lot west of Atlanta yesterday. It was a small dealer in a very small town. A sales guy posted it in a FB C8 group so I asked him if it was a retail stock order or did someone back out. It was retail stock according to him. This dealer sells mostly pickup trucks and SUVs. No ADM but I didn’t think to ask about dealer fees.

It will be interesting to see how long it sits on the lot before somebody buys it (assuming it sells at MRSP or lower).

very interesting to see. My wife and I picked up a new 2024 GMC Denali pickup on Saturday and our salesman (also their Corvette expert)-he does have street cred as he completed the RF academy....told us they have an inbound Z06 with no name attached to it....I was floored. I totally forgot to ask if they are charging MSRP......maybe that is why no one has jumped on it yet :-)

They are a dealer out in the country in a small town that services farmers mostly, so maybe they would just charge MSRP.....
