Can some one confirm the Q9Y is machined face. I see conflicting information and pictures. The website says machined face. The next two pictures were posted by members here. The blue car looks machined the red car looks clearly all painted. I asked the owner and he said they were all painted.

The blue car is mine and my answer is the wheels are both. I like them and everybody who has seen car loves them!
Your wheels on the blue car look like what I expect. painted with the machine face, The ones on the red are look like they are 100% painted. I have also seen a video of a Caci car that sure looked all painted with out the machined face.
The red car photo appears to be my car. The wheels are painted. There is a slight shine to the paint.
I like the solid color with the red, but if you paid the $1995 for machined face wheels and got fully painted wheels I would want some money back. On the other hand you might have a 1 off car.
No I got the wheels I ordered, I was just mentioning that I saw the same wheel painted black with a machined edge at the dealer on another car that was being delivered to another customer.

Both the Silver and Black say Machined face and the blue car sure does look it has machined face per the description. Its not just the edge it all the flat surfaces of the face that is machined, There is no "new" 5 spoke that is solid silver on the website,
The flat portion of the spokes and the circular edge of the rims are machined (polished) only.
The angled and inner portion of the spokes, as well as the flat circular inside portion of the wheels are painted.

Yes, that makes sense Machine face I have the 20 Spoke Machine face on my 2023 same thing. Your's are machine face, Rocketmanwpb's are all painted but the same Q9Y Code. It sounds like the fully painted ones missed a production process.
