I'm looking for a TRUSTWORTHY Dealer in NJ to change the DCT outside filter which must be done by a Dealer per the warranty. I'm 77 years old and in all my years have come across only one service department that was trustworthy and honest !

I’ve been taking my C8 to Ciocca in Atlantic City since I bought it from them.

I feel that they see all Vettes there and are therefore better qualified with the car and all the maintenance that must be performed.

Try contacting a Corvette club that may be relatively local to you and see who they recommend for service work. Just make sure if the recommendation is not a dealer that warranty coverage is still in effect.

Maintenance does not have to be performed by the dealer. You can take the vehicle to any shop you like, or you can do it yourself if you so choose. In addition to asking around for a competent dealer, perhaps find a local performance shop you would trust.

I wouldn't take it anywhere other than a dealer who can do the Hydraulic System Flush that is step one of the GM filter replacement procedure. I don't think anyone has found an OBDII scanner that can do the procedure yet and have not heard of any shops who can do it either.

If you are in South Jersey and close to the Delaware river ..... I use Bergey's in Plymouth Meeting. Excellent tech there for corvettes.

If you don’t mind traveling 40 miles Steve Spencer at BRYNER Chevrolet, Jenkintown, PA is one of the best Corvette technicians on the East Coast. He’s been servicing my Corvette’s for 23 years. He’s done everything over the years from oil change, track setup to full LS7 swap. I would not let anyone else touch my cars. Steve is Bryner’s Corvette specialist. He’s VERY good.

I just had my 2023 serviced at Ciocca in Atlantic City. I had the 7500 mile service completed and they were great. There was no charge and I was out of there in a little over 2 hours..
