Default Locking My '23

I've about got most of the stuff on the car like I want it I think (my new 23) Is there a way that I can get the horn to beep after the car is locked and I walk away LIKE MY '15 did? If I don;t hear that beep I'm not sure the car is locked.

I like to hear the conformation beep when I walk away from the car. Just my personal preference.

I think if you go into the Settings > Vehicle menu there's a Door Lock line item category. Under there you should see options for horn indicator, etc.

I just watch the mirrors fold on my 22.

I think that if you press the lock button a second time it makes a sound.

My 23 does that and I love it. I don't need to look I just walk to where I am going and a few seconds after leaving the car I get the beep. Great feature.

Not sure how I set it up but it was not hard to find in the settings.

It is not a great feature since the beep is annoying to myself and others in the vicinity of the car. A great feature is that you can select that the car autolock the doors AND NOT BEEP THE HORN. That is what I selected and walk away from my car confident that the doors will lock without a peep.

^^^ What he said.

Regardless, a loud click is heard whether the remote or the switches on the doors are pressed a single time.

I park away from people, and I'll be extra careful to park away from you. No problem.

Do the Same owners also complain that the Z06 is too loud on startup too?

You really need to spend some time with the manual, based on a few of your questions.

My Museum delivery guide set mine to lock and the horn sounds, mirrors fold in around 30 seconds after the doors are shut. So it can be done, on a 2024 at least.
