"Front Camera Blocked- Clean Windshield" Message
I have a 2024 HTC that I picked up in Oct. and I just started getting an error message that states "Front Camera Blocked Clean Windshield" the message will clean and comeback about every 3 minuets. Before I take it to the dealership I just wanted to ask if anyone else has had this problem?

Had this message on my 2023 GMC truck yesterday morning of all times taking it in to the dealer for a Carplay issue not the error message. It was real foggy yesterday morning is only thing I can think of the windshield was clean. Front camera on the grill of the truck was wet when I got there to check the truck in. Mentioned it and no one seemed to care, typical dealership response. Picked truck up later in day no error message on drive home. Carplay issue resolved but the google maps did not work anymore. Ended up calling Onstar people and we had to uninstall google maps and reinstall. Issue resolved then my park assist was staying off. At this point i was about ready to set fire to the truck! I cut truck off opened the drivers door for two minutes closed it then re-cranked truck every thing is working fine now. Dealer clown fixed the Carplay connection issue with a hardwire update but that messed up the google maps. One thing led to another. Never had the clean a windshield message before in a year of owning the truck and 6800 miles. I think it was the fog yesterday morning that triggered it.

I think your right, on the ride home this afternoon there was no problem. The windshield in front of the camera must have been fogged up.
