When I took delivery I was told I would not be able to set the Z or My Mode until after the break in period. I didn't argue but was able to program both when I got home. I have performance exhaust but no Z51. I also thought for some reason driving on manual would be restricted but it is not.

My car has less than a 100 miles and I set up both my mode and Z mode. Z mode had settings for steering, exhaust, engine, transmission. suspension and brakes.
When I go to Z Mode or My Mode I don't have the options of setting up sound or steering I have lines what am I missing
Do you have the NPP exhaust option?
I have a non-Z51. I have NPP.
I can set the Engine Sound, Steering, Engine Shift, Brake Feeling, on the Infotainment\Settings.
Take a picture of your Mode Setting from the Infotainment\Settings.
Walter, are you sure it wasn't Engine Sound and Suspension that you can't set. Those would make sense if you don't have NPP (Performance Exhaust) and MSRC respectively. There is no option (or lack of an option) that would result in the steering not being adjustable.

GOT it all and I have read the manual several times and saw a video
ONE LISTED THE OPTIONS LIKE TRACK, STEALTH.WEATHER TOUR to adjust for instance the sound but mine has lines nothing like the video a guy put on you tube

Not picturing what you're describing - you need to figure out how to post a photo - it's not hard (hint - select the upload button to the right of the happy face at the top of the quick reply box).
I have a anniversary edition 23 with the Z51 NPP the works when I go to my mode or z mode there is a list from steering to sound but it's increased by lines there are no lists the video showed
STEALTH
TOUR
TRACK
SPORT order might be off but that's basically it

Attached is picture of my menu for Z-mode on my 2021 which is Z51 with NPP and mag ride. It appears as soon as I press the Z button on the steering wheel. All the parameters shown can be adjusted. I believe that the PTM bar only shows up with Z51+mag ride. I am pretty sure that in the past, forum members have reported that the suspension setting, and the engine sound settings show up on the display even if the car does not have mag ride and/or the NPP exhaust. I have speculated in the past about what those two settings do without NPP or magride, but won't right now. I believe also that this display is available on 2021-2023 - but not on 2020 models. It is a touch screen. Touch the bars to changes the settings. The name of the setting for each (track, tours, sport, stealth, etc) will briefly flash next to the bar when you change the setting.
