Default damn winter

Been a very good winter so far in Mass.
A few drives in January and top down twice last week.
A foot of snow on the way.
Oh well, Spring is coming!

Steve8, I was up your way a few weeks ago. Teresa's Restaurant, Ware MA
Takes over 1.5 hours but Rte9 is a road to drive.
Quaborg Pond is pretty.
I wish I had those nice rides closer to Attleboro.

I’ve owned corvettes since 2005
This is the first year ever that I’ve driven any of them in Dec, Jan or Feb. This winter, I’ve had my 24 SR out multiple times each of those three months.

With the good sometimes comes the bad, Hope the snow melts quickly the roads get clear and you can get the car out for some more driving soon.

The roads are all clear here in NW Iowa but with the Devil's Brew the DOT puts on the roads I'm not taking mine out until a couple of rains wash the crap off. A lot of owners drive theirs in the winter no matter what, but those guys are nuts 😆

Buffalo NY reporting...lol. I like winter, love the change of seasons. I love snowmobiling and have loved it since the early 70's. The past 2 winters have been very mild, we had a major snow in the beginning of each of the last 2 years but did no good for our trail system. Usually I can tow 200 to 400 miles north into Ontario and enjoy the winters majesty, but not this year. Middle of February and even the most northern Ontario trails are closed.
At least this year I got my new Vette in late November, and I managed to take advantage of the light winter to break-in the monster. I love my Speedy turbo sled, and I love my Speedy sport-touring motorcycle, but I think this car is going to be my sanity saving machine. So old man winter, you can bite me.

... and yet in Montana snowpack is way down ... summer forest fires on the way!
However, this is my first time being able to drive my Corvette on New Years Day ...
...driving then off and on since 1967!

Have driven it a few times, in a past life, in a motorhome, but you're right, it's a nice drive.

What I like about Winter is it gives me a chance to plan a few things, get a few things done, fix a few things, read a book, and go for a vacation etc. Spring, Summer, Fall I waste driving around. If I lived in an area that had no hibernation period, I would be a wreck.
