I have a 2022 C8 Stingray and am thinking of changing the battery to an Antigravity Lithium battery. Do I need to reprogram the car to the new battery or is it just plug and play?

Thanks in advance
I have no experience with it and make no recommendation either way. But check this thread. That specific brand claim its designed to directly replace a FLA battery and no programming is needed. Several forum member have used them without issue.
I don't have one but know someone that put an Antigravity in his C7 4 years ago and it's been flawless. All he did was swap batteries, no other changes were made. Here's a video HPO did.
I've got an H6 60Ah Antigravity Battery installed it's a drop-in replacement. Other than the weight you'll definitely notice the up in voltage... The only reprogramming is to reindex the windows after disconnecting the battery.
Never heard of them before so I looked them up.......... $800? Need's a special maintainer.... ?
I could get 4 lead/acid.. 3 year batteries for that.........
HARD PASS
The special maintainer is 121 dollars on the Antigravity Battery website. The battery is drop in with no change to the electrical system, but very very pricey. I have read that E-ray uses a LI battery, for its starting battery (not to be confused with the battery pack for the drivetrain). I do not know what brand.
I remain unclear on the advantages. Its lighter. Will it last longer? A lot longer?

I am not sure I would want a large lithium battery charging in my garage. There is a reason Teslas ignite sporadically and planes don't allow them in the cargo hold.

It's a different lithium technology than in your cellphone - which is more likely to explode. Check out this video:
Here in AZ Teslas light up about 1 every other month.....
Ha, not sure what you guys are doing down there but none of that here in MN in the frozen tundra. I've had two model S's since 2015 and my wife a Model Y, we still have a house
