Long time lurker, first time soon to be owner. Just placed my order today, flipped 2000 status. What should I expect from this point? I'm doing R8C delivery, dealer told me TPW was 3/11. I'm confused how there's already a TPW when I placed the order today. I'm excited and can barely wait already. Incoming Red Mist 2LT
2025 C8 Stingray of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Dealer may have already had an allocation. Allocations are freeing up and dealers are starting to see a surplus. I would confirm with the dealer that the car is ordered exactly to your spec. Have them send you the order form which was submitted to GM.

Thanks, I did get that before I did anything else. I made sure to confirm it all prior to agreeing to anything. I was just shocked by the ~30 day TPW, I had been in contact with multiple other dealers that all told me 6-8 weeks from ordering.
Red mist 2LT. same here. Not sure if you have seen RM in person or not, but wow, are you in for a treat.
R8C is the way to go. I now they recently upped the cost on it by a good bit. I just hope the museum gets the lion's share of the increase and not GM. You may already know about the below, but just in case:
Since you selected R8C, one of the benefits is that you can legitimately bug Shane at the NCM regarding the status of your build :-) he is the one who will send you an email letting you know the anticipated roll-off date of your car, and will ask you to set a date for delivery, but prior to that email, you can email him and he can let you know where you build stands at a given point in time.
Also, if you are planning on adding any 3rd party items to your car, the PDI folks at the NCM can install a lot of items at very reasonable prices, so they will be on the car when you take delivery. For example, I had 5VM CF rocker extenders from AG Motorsports, low profile body-colored splash guards from RPI, front grille screens, and the NoviStretch front mask. I had all of these items shipped to the NCM when I ordered them from the various companies for installation. you can contact Shane and he can tell you what items the PDI folks can and cannot install.

I have seen it on the road in passing. My preferred color of Elkhart Blue being discontinued in 2024 led to me changing to Red Mist. I was able to pair it with the Q9I wheels, the pictures in the configurator I am sure do not do it justice. Appreciate the additional information. If anyone has recommendations on an indoor car cover for when it's parked in my garage I am open. My garage is insulated and heated if that matters.
Congratulations, Shane at the NCM is your contact and everything should be very easy and enjoyable.
I stayed at The Hotel Sync and it is literally right between the GM factory and the NCM museum,
I flew into Nashville and rented a car to drive to Bowling Green and it was an easy drive to get there.
Your shuttle driver at the NCM can assist at returning your rental car, it is an easy drop-off.
You will want to take at least one full day for the NCM delivery, factory tour (if available) and the museum/gift shop and stingray grill if you want to eat at the museum.
Expect a few hours to do the paperwork and get your car set-up and you will want to get the photo package.
There are a few items you may want in the gift shop and I suggest to load your car with everything you may want right there.
The Hotel Sync is a great spot to rest before and after the delivery and there is plenty of restaurants around to eat (don't forget the Liquor Barn for Bourbon)
Cheers, you are in for the ultimate Corvette experience.

Thankfully I do not have to fly in. I live about 3 1/2 hours away and will just have drive there the night before and stay the night. Good to know that Hotel Sync is worth the stay. I know factory tours are suspended at the moment, I'm hoping they might be open in a couple of months but no big deal if they are not. I have been through the museum before on my own but having the guide will make it that much better I'm sure.
