Just got back from a 2,300 mile road trip. Saw two (2) C8s... one in St. Petersburg, Florida, one just outside of Clearwater....I'm 82 and the car is comfortable enough for me to put in 600-mile days....
Well, there is only what 120K of them out there now? I go to the grocery store which is 5 minuts from me and see 2-3 everytime. Go on a 20-30 minute trip and see 6-10 of them. C8's are not a novelty any longer. I get I'm in SW Florida now and when I get back to INDY those numbers will probably be halved LOL
Not really surprised. I don't know where the C8s hide out, but for all the ones that are sold nearby, I sure don't see many on any given day, and every day.
I see more of them in the suburbs of significant cities than I do out in less built up areas. But I've seen them in places like Hilton Head, SC (out of season, so probably a local), Asheville, TN, and other smaller burgs. Just not as frequently.
I just don't see them here in the San Jose area of Northern California. Maybe everyone has Ferraris and Lamborghinis...I see many more of them than C8s.
I was really interested in how comfortable the car was and I’m glad you noted that. Any particular seats in the car to manage that comfort?
Mine is a 1LT w/Z51..... the only Corvette of 8 that I found for the seats to be uncomfortable was the C6. Still, I managed to put about 185K on it.....
To those who say they see C8s "all the time I'm only reporting what I saw on a back and forth trip from 64 miles NE of Dallas to the St.Pete/Tampa/Clearwater area -- two C8s.
Been driving Vettes 32 years all over the country, and I watch for all sports cars. . My experience is that most Vette drivers are in cities and driving only in good weather.... me? I've got a rare 1LT. It has windshield wipers, as does my Ferrari...

I have been daily driving my Vettes for 27 years and I also watch for all sports cars. I live just north of OKC. I see approximately three Vettes per month. I see as many Ferraris, Lambos, and Porsches as I do Vettes.
There is a difference between "local" and on the "highways". I live in one of the areas mentioned here in Florida and I see C8s every time I am out locally, Because I think, most C8 owners are using their cars for local commutes, going for Starbucks, etc, rather than taking a road trip. Same with other similar cars, Lambos, Ferraris, etc.
That's the way I drive mine -mostly locally, so you won't see my car on a cross country trip. In a year of ownership, I have only had mine on the highway, (as in a small road trip) once.
I live on the southside of atlanta, work on the north side (nice commute) and I see at least one C8 every day, with 160,000 plus on the road, and 200 being built most days and cars on dealers lots waiting for buyers the exclusivity is over, but the Corvette has always been Americas sports car, powerful, great value and attainable

None here in Bippus, Indiana. But there isn’t anywhere to drive to here, so figures.

I see lots of P-cars, saw one Lamborghini on this last trip (it was parked). I can't remember the last Ferrari I saw outside of a city (other than my own.)

All of my Vettes (8) over the past 32 years have been DDs. I take a lot of trips. I lack about 3,000 miles to have a million miles in Corvettes. I should have that by mid-June at the latest.

WITNESS: Took a 7 mile local trip today. Within ten minutes I saw a C8...typical for me
