Hello all, I’m the pride owner of a 2023 C8 HTC Z51.
I typically drive it in My Mode and I prefer the tour display on my HUD.
It seems like every time I restart the car it defaults back to the sport display so I have to toggle through to tour every time. Is there any way to set it so that when the car starts it will always default to the tour view?
Thank you,
Bert
Oh, by the way, I tried googling it, I tried looking it up on the forum, and I even read everything I could find on it in the owners manual.
I have tried using my seat memories, but that does not seem to help.
Give this a try.
Get the HUD set the way you want (mode, position, etc), also your seat position, mirrors, steering wheel. Make sure you have the FOB you use and then save the settings to whichever position is married to that FOB.
When you start the car, the seat, mirrors, steering wheel and HUD will move to the saved positions and the mode should be what you saved. At least, it does for me.
The HUD settings are part of what are programmed when you set position 1 or 2 on the drivers door. Start the car to let all the other settings go to their programmed positions then change the HUD to the desired settings and re-save position 1 (or 2).
I’m also not sure I understand how to create a custom My Mode.
I use the console wheel to set my mode, and then on the screen I can set various settings, but that’s all I have figured out so far.

Not clear on what you are asking here. What you describe is how you customize MyMode settings. If you are asking about how to set up various HUD options, that is done using the menu navigation buttons on the right side fo the steering wheel. The thumbwheel and arrows. Look for display design.
