Camera, I was thinking that may be last resort. Sometimes, that may be more accurate than a paint code.
It does not have to be exact. I am going to paint my engine side covers.
The anodized aluminum grey is too dull. I tried silver metallic but it was too dark.
I'm thinking I need something brighter, so I stepped back and looked at the wheels, OK that is worth a try.
Thanks for the link. For my 2023 it's not Bright Machined, or Carbon, or Black.
Are my 2023 wheels the color that was released in 2020? Bright Silver, or Sterling Silver.

Good luck. I had a question like this when I had my 2015 Impala and with a little digging my local dealer’s parts department was able to contact GM and come up with the paint code for the factory painted wheels. Paint matched perfectly.

Yes, my ELB was April of 2023. I 'm glad I got my car because I absolutely love ELB. I have not seen the 2024 blue, but I cannot imagine how it could be any better.
I don't know why they discontinued it. I can only guess that it is too hard to match for paint warranty claims.
Why else would GM discontinue a color? Cost, availability?

Colors. When I bought paint for my engine compartment, I had the car paint code and I picked the lowest cost paint.
The price was pretty reasonable, but the paint did not match, color was off, metallic was way off.
I went back and found the paint expert. He came out and looked at my ELB car and said "you are not going to like what I see".
Not only is it a pearl color, but a blue pearl. If you want it to match you have to buy PPG and that is like liquid gold.
Very expensive. I bought it, sprayed on super easy, perfect color match. Beautiful paint.
I like the paint guy, He is honest and knows his stuff.
