I have not directly compared the front end of My Z-51 Coupe to a non Z-51 Coupe, what is the main difference on the splitter configuration?
Is it just the size of the lower lip or flange?
I will have to look at other cars and compare, I just have not really noticed the difference yet.
A side-by-side comparison might help or is there other differences that I was not aware of?
I love the look of My Z-51 and I do not plan on changing a thing, it really is a great design.
I preferred the look of the GM Accessory low spoiler over that of the low spoiler that is available when ordering (which also includes the installation of the Z51 splitter on non-Z51’s), so I now have my preferred low spoiler with the Z51 splitter: GM Accessory low spoiler (different from the low spoiler that’s installed at factory…notice the dip in the middle. Sort of a baby Z06 stick spoiler. It is an official GM part. Back view of GM Accessory spoiler. Z51 splitter w/GM Accessory spoiler for a “balanced” look…

Z51 splitter IS included when you order the low spoiler on the non-Z51…(but my pics in this post are NOT the low spoiler that you order factory installed. My low spoiler can be ordered from the dealer for installation though…but then you have to buy the splitter separately…
Similar question what exactly is the rear OEM diffuser? All the aftermarket ones have "fins" below the rear bumper but I thought the Z51 came with front splitter and rear diffuser, but I guess not? Is there an OEM rear diffuser option, the rear looks the same on all the builds I've done online.

Key words here are "....when you order the low spoiler on the non-Z51"
My Z-51 Coupe does have the lower plastic lip and it is a softer compound that is intended to be replaced as you smash it into everything out there.
The non-Z51 cars do look good without the plastic lower lip, I don't think it adds any downforce but it probably does deflect more air to the heat exchangers and inlet ports.
I'm keeping it on My car, really don't need to do anything to it until I have to replace it.
