I have the 7000 tl which are very heavy to lug around however I do a lot of work on my son's 2 Toyota Highlanders that are around 5,000 lbs. If I didn't need the 7,000 for him I would have only got the 5,000 lb model.

So I fell for all of the HYPE to buy one , (I all ready have floor jacks and Jack stands ) I ordered one on there Black Friday sale only to find out it was on an indefinite back order. I order a 7000LTX in October of 2023 as the C8 requires the extended version to lift safely, I chose the 7000 over 5000 as we have a few SUVs on the drive way .In February 2024 after several incorrect availability dates I got fed up and said ship me what you have and ended up getting a 7000 TL instead of the TLX as they could not give me a ship date for a TLX . Prior to any ordering and Paying for one I would speak to a representative other then Blake for a firm shipping date . Going forward I don't see this as a tool I will be keeping as they are too heavy to be considered a convenance . They are hard to roll around, they are hard to slide under the car. the theory is great but they are just not so easy to move around

Mine would be only be used on the C8.
Will the 5000 suffice only for use on the c8?
I park over mine so moving them is a bit easier, also watched some youtube vids about putting rollers on them to make it even easier to move around. There are only 4 approved lift points so trying to use a jack and stands means you have to have some specialized jacks and are limited to how high you can lift.

I tried the Rennstand jack stands. Nicely made but very expensive for a jack stand. And as mentioned, the lift height isn't great.
Was looking at the 5000 extended on this site last night. Is this site legit? its a good 700 cheaper than anywhere else,
Editing to add that as a poster above pointed out, the cheaper ones don't include all 3 boxes. The 3 box set is about the same price as it is directly from quickjack.

7000TLX for me. I park over it and have installed the low wheels and it is easy enough to move the couple of feet when I use it. I don't park the C8 over it, but I do have a boat and trailer, a Toyota Sequoia 4x4, a Toyota Tundra 4x4 and a 1983 Jeep CJ7 that fit under it with no problem. I sure wouldn't want to lift it on to wall storage hooks. They are heavy and I want nothing to do with wrestling them around. Lifting even one end of them is a lot of work (for me anyway).
