My 30th Corvette
Thirty Vettes in forty eight years average to a different one every eighteen months. I am on my seventh Vette in twenty seven years. My batting average is a bit below your average.

I had a friend in my local corvette club that changed out cars frequently. It was interesting to see his decisions.

My boss bought the car from him and it had 17,000 original miles on it. My boss kept it for a year and I made a deal and traded my 1967 Corvette convertible in on the 69. I remember the day I picked it up and coming home I stop to show my friends who use to go to the pool with that I got the Corvette.
The second car was a 1975 Corvette Convertible yellow black top saddle leather L-82 automatic PS,PB,PW AC, Tilt Wheel, AM/FM Stereo I had this car as a second Corvette at the time I also had a 2021 Silver/Red coupe. I had so much fun with this car and it was the longest I ever owned a Corvette I had it for 5 years and someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse and I sold it. Now I wished I had it back and somewhere in the future I will get another C3 convertible

15. 84 Gray Jul 89, added 4.6k miles and $500 profit over 7 months
16. 76 T-top, this one we took on a 10-day cruise in 1990. First state visit to FL (bought a souvenir in FL ...a vacant lot). A great trip to remember.

25. 93 40th Anniv Edition
26. 03 50th Anniv Edition
27. 90 Coupe wht. Bought only to get Corvette Loyalty Bonus on first-ever-brand-new #28. It then needed a fuel pump which set me back to break even w/the bonus. Lesson: be careful w/low mileages. Just like a generator in long storage. They need top grade clean fuel. And stabilizer for good luck.
28. 12 Coupe Gray, flew up to Dearborn MI Oct 17, 2012 and drove it back. Stopped at Bowling Green on the way. Notes say 6 months ownership @ zero cost.
#29 would have been a new C8 from Mike_Furman@Criswell back in 2020. Me not like stock wheels. Bought mod wheels from CA and placed them in third bathtub for storage. Wife let me know not pleased w/that. So I cancelled out the car too & returned the wheels to CA. In between those days I had a 2nd deposit on a C8 Z06 which ended up being applied to the first C8 as follow-up deposit, which auto-cancelled the Z bc of first cancellation. The Z06 would have been #30. I should have stood my ground here in Floriduh. Big regret to the tune of 20k+ in earnings between both. Been vetteless for a decade+
That's my story and I'm stickin with it. 71 total vehicles to date. Maybe 2 or 3 more.
Fav year & model: '63 SWC
