I still have the 68 sales brochure that hooked me on Corvette. I had to wait four years until I could afford an early production one year old 72 L48 coupe. Kept it for 34 years.

Congratulations on your 30th Vette. Sharp looking Vette.

Thirty Vettes in forty eight years average to a different one every eighteen months. I am on my seventh Vette in twenty seven years. My batting average is a bit below your average.

Not to question your integrity, but are they legally in your name, or the dealerships?

I have obviously not owned 30, but I have owned 6... So Far!
1970 C3 Stingray T-Tops Black/Camel 350 LT1/Auto
1978 C3 Official Pace Car Silver/Black w/Decals / Silver Interior 350 / Auto
1978 C3 Silver Anniversary Dark Blue/White Built 350 From Block out / Auto
1988 C4 White/Red 350/Auto (Still have this one)

For a change, I recently bought a 2015 Commemorative Edition Camaro. It was black with Red Interior. Recently I had it wrapped in Red. Very fun car, but obviously not a Vette... (Still Have this one)

2015 Commemorative Edition Camaro... I still own this one...

1978 C3 Official Pace Car... Nice looking but absolutely no power... This right after I took off the Indy 500 Decals

1988 C4 Corvette... I have since began the restoration. New Interior, New wheels (C7 Wheels and Tires) Engine, Trans and Exhaust Work... Pics to come.

2014 C7 Corvette... Very Fast and Good Looking... Loved this car

1978 C3 Silver Anniversary Corvette I sold this before I was able to finish resto...

1990 C4 Corvette Plain and Simple Stock... I still own this one...

My Very first Corvette. 1970 C3 350LT1/TH350... I bought this in 1982... I was 20 years old. Quite the chick magnet, lol...

Corvette ED...... care to post your favorite???? I always thought my last/current would be my favorite but not the case.

I had a friend in my local corvette club that changed out cars frequently. It was interesting to see his decisions.

Wow! That's awesome! I tend to keep my cars. Had my C5 for almost 13 years. Moved to a C7 last summer. So my Vette count is a measly 2...and it may never go higher. But that's OK, love my C7.

It's hard to beat the new one but I have two cars that stand out. In 1969 there was a guy who lived next door to the local swimming pool. My friends and I would walk there almost everyday to go swimming. The guy worked construction and had a pickup truck but he also bought new a 1969 Corvette Coupe Burgundy with Tan interior 427/435HP 4Speed factory side exhaust. I would stop and look in that car every time on my way to the pool. I was 11 years old and loved that car. I would tell me friends someday I am going to own that car. It was 1977 and I was working at a used car dealership and the owner was a Corvette guy always owned one and had a few on the lot for sale. One day the guy with the 69 pulled in and said it's time to sell it. My boss and him were friends and I find out he went with him the day he bought it new in 1969.

My boss bought the car from him and it had 17,000 original miles on it. My boss kept it for a year and I made a deal and traded my 1967 Corvette convertible in on the 69. I remember the day I picked it up and coming home I stop to show my friends who use to go to the pool with that I got the Corvette.

The second car was a 1975 Corvette Convertible yellow black top saddle leather L-82 automatic PS,PB,PW AC, Tilt Wheel, AM/FM Stereo I had this car as a second Corvette at the time I also had a 2021 Silver/Red coupe. I had so much fun with this car and it was the longest I ever owned a Corvette I had it for 5 years and someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse and I sold it. Now I wished I had it back and somewhere in the future I will get another C3 convertible

01. 63 SWC Nassau Blue ('65) re-paint VIN S111229, Bought Apr 9, 1966 < a year out of HS. Got drafted into the Army in '66 which forced the sale. Got out 2 yrs later and promptly bought #2.
02. 63 SWC Goodwood Green ('67) re-paint, red int., like a X-mas tree. Had BB hood w/white stinger, side exhaust, 67 rally whls, & the latest in tires.
03. 68 CV 427/390 Blue
04. 73 T-top Red, Hooker header side exhaust, sharp!
05. 77 T-top Blue
06. 74 CV
07. 59 CV Red
08. 74 CV L82
09. 80 Blue, then traded it w/my good buddy David McDonald for #10
10. 63 SWC stock red VIN S110386 July 1985 - Feb 86, sold it to a Va Dlr for 10K
11. T-top, notes say $510 profit for 18 days
12. 75 CV
13. 75 CV
14. 63 SWC Porsche Red repaint. This one was special. Saw it at Rosenthal Chev in Arlington vettte show and left my #. About a yr later I got the call. Appraised @ 20K in '88.
15. 84 Gray Jul 89, added 4.6k miles and $500 profit over 7 months
16. 76 T-top, this one we took on a 10-day cruise in 1990. First state visit to FL (bought a souvenir in FL ...a vacant lot). A great trip to remember.
17. 73 CV
18. 75 CV Burgundy
19. 88 Burgundy
20. 88 35th Anniv Oct 96 w/16.3k mi. VIN 116428. Broke down on hwy after purchase. Bad fuel pump. Brought in Md drove to FL. Sold 4 mts later for 1.5k gain.
21. 87 Coupe Burgundy, kept it one yr. added 9k fun miles. Sold w/125k miles
22. 87 Red Mar 04 - Dec 07. added 32k miles @ 2k net cost incl tax
23. 07 Yellow Jan - Apr 08. My net cost $100 after all expenses. 2.5k miles of use. (not my fav yellow)
24. 03 Z06 TR/mod - Jun 2010 - Feb 2011. 5.2k fun miles cost me $40 Sold for 27K (find it here in the Test forum. Thread title 1,2,3, testing) Great car. Want a Yellow now like it.
25. 93 40th Anniv Edition
26. 03 50th Anniv Edition
27. 90 Coupe wht. Bought only to get Corvette Loyalty Bonus on first-ever-brand-new #28. It then needed a fuel pump which set me back to break even w/the bonus. Lesson: be careful w/low mileages. Just like a generator in long storage. They need top grade clean fuel. And stabilizer for good luck.
28. 12 Coupe Gray, flew up to Dearborn MI Oct 17, 2012 and drove it back. Stopped at Bowling Green on the way. Notes say 6 months ownership @ zero cost.

#29 would have been a new C8 from Mike_Furman@Criswell back in 2020. Me not like stock wheels. Bought mod wheels from CA and placed them in third bathtub for storage. Wife let me know not pleased w/that. So I cancelled out the car too & returned the wheels to CA. In between those days I had a 2nd deposit on a C8 Z06 which ended up being applied to the first C8 as follow-up deposit, which auto-cancelled the Z bc of first cancellation. The Z06 would have been #30. I should have stood my ground here in Floriduh. Big regret to the tune of 20k+ in earnings between both. Been vetteless for a decade+

That's my story and I'm stickin with it. 71 total vehicles to date. Maybe 2 or 3 more.

Fav year & model: '63 SWC
