I have a couple of this guy’s Corvette production books and I just bought his C8 book. I’m a numbers guy and I love it. Has a lot info that I did not know about the mid engine Vette. Much more production figures than any other Corvette book. A good source for any C8 owner. I got the link:
The parsing of options to make a car they have built over 100k of to call it"rare" will never cease to make me laugh. It's so bizarre. The whole point of corvettes is they are not rare and somewhat regular people can afford them.
Floridasky:
Yes, the book has all production numbers for 2023.
Coupe, convertible
Stingray RPOs and LPOs
Z06 RPOs and LPOs
Exterior colors by coupe/convertible/Stingray/Z06
Interior colors by coupe/convertible/Stingray/Z06
Exterior/Interior color combinations by coupe/convertible/Stingray/Z06
LT2 & LT6 engine specs
Nice discussion section about special editions and exports (and export GPFilters/HP differences) in the last part of the book
There's really only 3 things about a C8 that could remotely be used to classify "rarity" within any one production variant:
HTC or Coupe
Exterior color
Interior
If you start trying to classify your rarity based on seat belts, calipers and wheels--you are a douchecanoe.
My "Stingray logo center caps with red outline, dealer installed" will make mine rock Mecum someday. 1 of 1 that day with my options and a VIN ending with an odd number. Includes my napkin from lunch at the Stingray Grill that day, the kind of touch that sets records.
