I finally found a 2020 C8 out in Houston. Thanks for all input on buying one with replaced tranny. Question on exhaust. Is there any setting to put the exhaust in track, which I am assuming is wide open, all the time without going thru all those driving modes?

 

You can either customize your My Mode or your Z-Mode. My mode will stay on unless changed, or you can hit the Z button every time you start the car.

Even in track, the exhaust is never fully open all the time. Due to regulations, even the track setting closes the valves at low RPM, low load scenarios.

 

I operate in My Mode with the exhaust set to track at all times 😁

 

The exhaust is really quiet from inside the car no matter the mode. If you are outside and behind it, it sounds good.
