So a friend pointed out to me that the passenger mirror on C8 sticks out farther than the driver side. Yes, I confirmed...it does. You can see the diff when looking from front.

Chevy mentioned that at the C8 reveal event back in 2019, it's to help minimize blindspots. It's reversed for RHD export vehicles.

It's something that has bothered me about all cars since I first noticed it decades ago. It's why I prefer mirrors mounted to door triangles--as the differences needed--side-to-side--are minimal and unobtrusive when mirrors are located on the triangles.
Most preferable would be VW XL1 style side mirror cameras...but we won't go into that....

You want more mind blowing information , you say?
Think about the 'sound file' the interior computer has to play each time you use the turn signal; there's no mechanical switchgear in the current day turn stalk - so the car literally plays an audio file when you signal.

That's not mind blowing. It's merely annoying, as there are a lot of things piped through the speakers that I would rather have a say in. Like exhaust noise. I want to be able to set beeps and pings for my car--the same way I can for messages on my smartphone.
