Default JACO Tire Inflator

I've used a Jaco digital gauge for several years. Great piece. The pain in the patoot was my air chuck. An old school gas station piece that came in the air compressor box. I'm a once a month tire check guy so I just fought the 1950s technology. A recent thread about air gauges led me to the air inflator idea. I bought this from amazon for $40. Worth all of that and more. If you don't use one or similar, you should give it a try. I'm glad I did.

P.S. There are two versions of this available, V1.0 and V2.0 I think most of us Silver Bullet types will find V2.0 to be much easier to use. Watch the DIY video or read the included manual. The air bleeder process with V2.0 is not intuitive.

I have a few tire air gauge in my shop. I took 5 of them and checked the same tire (not vette) and found they all showed different pressures, some as far apart as 6 PSI. How do you know what guage is the correct one? The two digital gauges were the closest, but still had a 2 PSI difference. The cheap pencil type gauges had the most pressure difference. I pretty much use one of the digital gauges and leave the others on the shelf.

I bought the same one from Harbor Freight. What I love best is you get each tire exactly the same pressure. I have also investigated the type Discount Tire uses where you set the pressure and it shuts off automatically, but a bit pricey.

I'm using the AstroAI, which looks similar to the JACO. Actually used it last night because I had one tire that was 3-4PSI higher than it should be, which is odd to me because I just had new tires installed and you'd think that discount tire could get the PSI correct.

I use a digital tire gage I got off EBAY. The reading matches the read out on the dash display so I would say it is accurate as I use it on several cars in the home fleet and they all seem to correspond to the gage reading. There are certified gages available but I have never owned one. I would also guess that if you are concerned with accuracy you would have to have your gage checked at least once a year.

Have the same Jaco - very accurate and reliable - only thing I dislike are the batteries but understand you need them for accurate digital.

I was kind of surprised when I started counting the tires I must keep inflated- over 50. I have used many different inflators over the years and I like my JACO V2.0 the best.

Been using the Jaco for years after doing much research prior to purchase. Nice!

I bought one for each of my daily drivers. Seems to work nice.

I've had this Nulksen model from Amazon for a few years and can attest it works great. Lightweight, battery lasts a long time and it's bailed me out more than once. I'm probably picking up another to put in my Jeep GC.

The Jaco digital gauge paired with a V2.0 air inflator makes tire checks easy and accurate, and it’s well worth trying for anyone who wants a more convenient way to maintain tire pressure.

I keep watching the auto inflator setup like Discount uses. Still a bit pricey but seem to be coming down in price...
