I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that most Corvette owners don't daily drive their Corvettes.
I'd say you are absolutely wrong. I have 4 vehicles and the only time I don't drive mine is when I need to go somewhere with more than 2 people. Which is almost never. The only other time it doesn't get DD'd is winter. The C8 is not a Ferrari where people are trying to avoid depreciation by keeping miles off.
I'd say I'm right based on what I've found having been active in the Corvette community for 48 years.
Even though this forum/poll represents a very small segment of total Corvette owners only 18% say they daily drive their Corvettes.
Probably more C8 owners DD their Corvettes than Corvettes in general, however still I bet most don't.

The C8 is an entirely different demographic than every Corvette that has come before. All C1-C7 stats have been rendered meaningless when it comes to the C8, you'll need a new C8 only poll.

Since the poll was conducted on a C8 forum, it's probably a good assumption that most poll participants were C8 owners.
Don't daily a C8 in South FL. 36, unmarried, clean record. 1st 6mo premium=$1400 2nd 6mo premium=$1600 3rd I just paid last month was $1850 with Gieco. USAA wanted $2100 for the same coverage. So $3700 yearly at the current rate.
If you live in VA, you simply are going to get BENT OVER..... with the UM/UIM bullshit law from 2023 we got HAMMERED. Yesterday, SB256 was moved forward (and will be signed) which is all about "bad faith". This bill, once law, will add an estimated 19% MORE to auto policies in VA. THe lawmakers are all "high-fiving" each other thinking they did good for the citizens of VA yet (somehow) not realizing that the insurance companies are just going to screw over their insured. Why would they take all the loss? They won't, they are all supposedly already all being downgraded from not making profit, and this law will make that worse. They have to get the $$$ from somewhere, so bend over and have your wallet WIDE open.....
I had GIECO or Criterion for 50 years for multiple cars and bikes and homeowner. One speeding ticket while passing a truck on a two lane highway and they doubled all my premiums. Would not even consider reviewing the decision. Moved to Flo. Less than GIECO was for the same coverage.
GIECO started for gov employee and military but no longer care. I’m 30 year retired military.
Connect/AmFam through Costco. I pay $900/year (full coverage). It was only $520 last year, but insurance rates in the state of Washington jumped 75% this year.
I used Hagerty on the advice of a friend who retired from Allstate as a claims adjuster. As others have said cost depends on where you live. My policy on my 2021 C8 is $1,700/year in Georgia. It's an agreed value policy with unlimited miles and I can drive it anywhere I want to drive it - unlike most NCM policies that limit miles or where you can drive your C8. I also get a free membership in the Hagerty Driver's Club which has a few nice perks.

Yes they are.....this rise in cost is due to inflation. Everything costs more now......including car parts and employee salaries. Don't forget the Ford and GM contracts that got signed last year.

Go DAWGS,, (they got screwed too, lol).Nah, the insurance companies are calling the shots..Billions of dollars on all the commercials that we are paying for.. Wait, Mahomes is on tv again....lol
I was shocked after I bought my C8 and called USAA.
I was paying about $150 per month for my Audi Q5. When I realized how low my deductible was, I raised it to $1k, added my ‘24 C8 HTC and now pay about $200 per month for both cars.

I split the DD duties between my C8 and a Ferrari. I didn't buy the F-car to leave in the garage and say, I have a Ferrari." I bought it because I wanted one for 60 (yes, 60) years.... I do not care about depreciation as per mileage -- don't care on the C8 either.... got LOTS and LOTS of miles in Corvettes over the past 34 years.....
