Default Bash help

I have a friend visiting from Australia and he wanted to visit the NCM this week. I just realized it’s bash week. He’s not so much a corvette enthusiast as much as a car enthusiast in general, he has a late model converted RH drive Challenger at home. I’ve not been to the bash. Does anyone have advice I can give him? Can anyone go, parking, lodging issues? He’s sort of on a tight schedule to continue his tour of the USA.

I went in 2022 and parking at NCM was tight and lodging was very tight locally. But, I stayed at Hotel Sync about 1/2 mile from NCM. Bowling Green is pretty big and has a college in town so there are other area hotels which may have availability further from the museum. Good luck at this date.

Your friend should have no problems visiting the museum during Bash days. They still sell Museum general admission tickets during the Bash. Just look and adults are $25.
Also looked at my Hilton app and there are rooms available at 5 Hilton locations in the area on 25th of April. It used to be difficult to get rooms during the Bash but more hotels have been built.
On the road to the museum he will be stopped and unless he is driving a Vette he will be directed to park in an area a little ways from the museum. It's actually are good time to visit as there will be lost of Corvettes on display for him to view.

Perfect, thanks for inputs! Anyone know any Bowling Green bourbon tasting worth while during his stay? Internet doesn’t look overly positive.

Yes, your friend can still go to the museum even though it is Bash week. Might want to go early in the week unless he wants to deal with the crowds. But during the actual bash he would get to see a lot of different cars.
