Default Courtesy Delivery Question

MacMulkin Chevrolet has suggested Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater, FL for my Courtesy Delivery destination. Has anyone here had a personal experience with them either good or bad?
I've suggested Sting Ray Chevrolet as my destination. I'm waiting to hear back from MacMulkin.

Go stop in the dealer. And talk to them. It is not requirement for dealers to do courtesy deliveries. I only found a couple dealers here in AZ that would do it, for around $750. It is still way cheaper than shipping! Key is you must set it up prior to placing your order. Once ordered you cannot do it later.

Sting Ray delivered mine (bought it there too) I was very happy with the delivery, indeed the entire process.

Another option would be to check out Sunset Chevrolet in Sarasota. They to all my maintenance going back 10 years.

Estero Bay Chevrolet. Great to deal with. Bought 6 cars from them. Ask for R\salesman Richard D.

Appreciate all the suggestions Estero Bay is 136 miles away so probably not a good choice for me but thank you.

Yes, I know it's not a requirement and the list keep getting shorter and shorter per MacMulkin. They are dropping dealers that do not satisfy their customer service expectations. Some dealers act like they are not getting anything out of it so why care. String Ray Chevrolet told me they give the same customer service to a courtesy delivery as if they sold the car. They are hopeful that you will visit them in the future for service or buy a Tahoe.

Hey Adam- I have used Stingray twice for my C8 that you were looking to purchase and my Z06. Rich Holly the fleet manager has been great to deal with.

I've had 2 C8 courtesy deliveries with Rich Holley in the fleet department at Stingray Chevrolet and they both were great. Macmulkin recommended Gettel Chevrolet in Punta Gorda as the closest courtesy delivery dealer to my home in Venice but I've always heard good things about Stingray Chevrolet so I went with them. Stingray did a great PDI and filled the tank with gas along with an great introduction by Rich to my new C8.

I've also had two courtesy deliveries through Rich Holley at Stingray (ordered from MacMulkin), and I couldn't be happier with the whole process. They absolutely have their act together.

Well Sting Ray it is then!
Cecil, Thanks for your response. I went and specked out a new one because I wanted the Z-51 and mag ride and ended up switching to Torch Red with red/black two-tone interior.
I could not find a better price than at MacMulkin Chevrolet.
