I just got my 24 C8 and on Monday I have it scheduled for Xcel PPF and window tinting which will be followed by Cilajet ceramic coating outside and Cilajet sealant for the interior. In general (there are exceptions!) I heard good news about Cilajet and one of my friends had that applied to his car and he was pretty happy with it. My concern is mostly for the sealant inside: would it create any spots, etc? I know that they have Cilajet Fab for fabric and Cilajet something else for leather but should I be concerned with any of that stuff staining my torch red leather/suede? They do offer warranty up to full replacement of parts (chair, etc) if they can't get any stains out for the next 5 years. Is this too good to be true? My goal is to keep my red interior absolutely perfect and with showroom quality forever! Thoughts?
Per their website, "Cilajet’s auto paint protection is a dealer-only product". As such, it is undoubtedly a high margin money maker for the dealership. I'd suggest you get some competitive quotes to make sure you're not getting taken. I could not find any detailed information on their website regarding their warranty.
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm paying $865 and it's probably costing them $150 or so ... The Cilajet shops usually are contracted with dealerships but their product seems to be good. The price includes one application inside (5-yr warranty) and two applications outside (one every 5-year, amassing for a 10-yr warranty for the outside ceramic coating). If the quality is what they say it is (?!), I'm Ok with the price especially after asking around my PPF shop would also ceramic coat my car for about $800. I was wondering if folks experienced any Cilajet treatment for their car, especially interested in the interior quality of the application.
Cilajet was already on my 2023 C8 when I bought it second hand and I really love the product.
My car always looks showroom fresh with very little maintenance
My dear friend works at a dealership. His exact words - "Cilajet is a cheap way for us to make a lot of money on a product that really does nothing"... It was on my Vette when I bought it, and it came off like a wax... Don't waste your money...

I mean, I do get in my car soaking wet from the suana at the gym few times a week but always wipe it down before I put her away...only reason I could think of needing something...but have black with the blue trim so not super worried...more curious

I did Adams Graphene Ceramic myself, and am very pleased with the ease and result.
I also did this, the most time consuming part is the prep to get it ready for the ceramic coat. The ceramic coating in total only took about an hour then the 12 hour cure process. It was simple.
