Default Silver engine cover
We are awaiting an allocation for a C8 2LT Z51+ and are considering adding a silver engine cover. Our concern is whether it will reflect sunlight onto the rear window and cause damage?

I have the silver engine cover, really like it as it goes with the silver striping. No reason for concern.

You’ll be fine, but my advice is don’t waste your money on the engine cover, in a short time you won’t even look at it.

I added the Sterling Silver engine cover shortly after I took delivery of my car nearly 3 years ago and never once has it caused a reflection or distraction, but sure looks a lot nicer when you take a peek back there.

The silver color does not standout very much, imo. I took mine off and put on a body color, rapid blue,specialty painted one.

I have a '23 ordered with the silver cover. No issues and it Pops more then most colors, I get compliments on it !!!
