What will Chevy do to replace the silver colors being dropped? They can paint 14 colors but only announced 3 new colors and are dropping more, leaving a gap to fill that 14 color capability. Forgive if duplicate post?
They already said they were reducing the color pallet. the current line up less the drops plus the 3 new ones is all we're getting this year. From a production standpoint it makes sense and helps GM's bottom line.

I was at the bash and saw the 3 new colors but never heard them state the color pallet was being reduced. I just thought any new colors would be announced at a later date. As for production it doesn't make sense to reduce the color pallet after spending millions a few years ago to increase the number! Not trying to be argumentative just trying to see what the big picture is.
So my HSG Metallic just became more valuable? J/K... Kind of... To me the only color that I could see being one collectors eventually go nuts over will be the Zeus Bronze. If that was an option on the 24s I would have selected it in a heartbeat.
At the Bash, yes, the announced 3 new colors and yes, no announcement was made about reduction of colors. That seems to be a rumor started here in cyberland. I have not been able find anything official on that rumor, so we will see.
Note the line: "the news came from an email (unnamed) sent to MacMulken...."
No source of the email, no other dealers have received, no GM announcements. It may be true in the end, but today that is rumor/gossip. That article must be the same place much of our news media gets its info.
