I would trade my C8 for a low mileage C7Z...I think. Would consider it.

Personally, I have to agree that a C7 Z is a good option.

I'd choose the C7 Z06 with a factory supercharger

C7 all the way. You know the weakest link fact? The more hp you add the weakest point of the drivetrain will be found. With the c8 transmission challenges adding more hp is dicey. You find a nice c7 it has a minimum of 5 years experience.

I'd take the C8, I like the body style better.

It depends on the perceived goal of the purchase. Why are you buying it?
Is it for raw straight line muscle, 0-60 time, 1/4 mile time, top end, or more for front engine versus mid engine weight balance/handling, body shape/design, fuel economy, safety features, convertible/coupe?
I like my 2024 SR C8 HTC Z51, but that's what I wanted when I ordered it.

probably more for daily/weekend driving or rather if its nice out the car is out. not looking to do any laps around the ring just want something with enough power to **** on the exotics should they think they are rolling next to a stock car on the highway. Definitely coupe or vert.

As repeatedly stated... don't potentially fight with wheel reinvention; buy the proven factory Z and go on. .

Unless you really know the owner/builder, buying a car with a built engine is something of a crapshoot.

I really wanted a manual tranny and was on the lookout for a C7 convertible with low mileage. I found a few for sale, but they were close to what I paid for a used 2023 C8 Z51. The other thing is, I have a few old cars and I was thinking even a 2019 C7, is five years old. Just my two cents.
