I experienced my first Corsa exhaust in person. It's volume.....was the same as my NPP on a warm start and idle. I did not hear a rev or any drivebys. How does Corsa stand apart from the NPP? My experience makes me think about going with a muffler delete for more volume, but drone wouldn't be worth it.
If you have any knowledge of Corsa please chime in.

I cannot help you on the Corsa because I couldn’t find any to listen to myself. I ended up ordering the BORLA ATAK, with a black chrome tips, and could not be any happier than I am today. I’m about an hour north of you if you ever want to hear what the BORLA sounds like in person; we can meet up somewhere.

My family has had several Corsa systems and always been very happy with them. But this is on other models. No experience with Corsa for the C8. Some of their systems used to be differentiated by use… track systems were very rowdy. Street systems not so much but always top notch quality and sound.
I really like the factory system in Track mode… it sounds great at idle. When pulling in the garage with the exhaust in track mode it has the best rumble. To me it sounds like and old school pre cat muscle car.
Another reason I use Z mode all the time to set brakes, steering and engine/transmission in Sport, suspension in comfort and exhaust in Track.

I started a thread on this a bit before you today as well - I'm looking at the borla s type or the corsa with npp...haven't been able to find anything local to listen to so all I can do is watch videos....
Hoping some of the members here have the exhaust and can share personal experiences, what the liked and didn't like vs expectations, etc.

I have Corsa valved exhaust on mine. Quite a bit louder than npp in sport or track but quieter than stock in tour or weather mode. Little bit more volume after adding ARH headers. Significant volume over stock but I wouldn’t call it loud.
You likely heard it in Tour mode which Corsa is actually rated at 1 dB quieter than the stock NPP. In Sport/Track modes with the NPP valves are open, she gets pretty loud as it's basically a straight-through design.
Corsa and Borla ATAK will be equivalent in volume when the valves are in the open position.

Are you happy with it? What else did you consider?

I am happy with it, I was considering the Borla Atack or S-type as well. I happen to come across this one with about 1000 miles on it for $1500 so couldn’t pass it up

@vabulldog was nice to meet with you today and let you hear and experience what the ATAK sounds like in person versus videos. Best of luck and let me know which system you end up with.
Awesome gesture, sir. The "basso profundo" of the ATAK is now seared into his brain
Now, if only we could get @jipper to make a decision 😉
Ha I'm working on it! Found a local guy in charlotte and I'm going to go listen to his this weekend and hit up a FD cars and coffee...you guys have been super helpful (esp Kracka), many thanks!
His reactions, smiles, and grins told me he was 100% going to buy the ATAK (sorry Corsa).
Hearing one in person helps make the decision; either to buy or not.
I told him that I was 100% sure I was getting a Corsa but not being able to hear one, in person, was a deal breaker for me. I got to hear just about everything else on the market, and put some faith into guys like @Kracka , all of whom helped in assuring me that I was not going to be disappointed in the ATAK. There were 100% right. ZERO regrets.
Part of what makes this forum and the C8 community so great!!!

I remember when you were also in your search/research/ stage.....was pleasantly "surprised" when you ended up with the Borla ATAK. @vabulldog and @jipper , this mod is NOT cheap but your smile/jaw drop when you hear the cold start for the first time will very quickly validate the $$ spent.
