First filter change

I just bought a 2023 C8 with 4700 miles. I know the first service including trans filter change is free but the carfax says the dealer serviced the oil twice. Does that mean i will have to pay fro the trans filter change at 7500 miles?

The complimentary service is only for the original owner. As the 2nd owner, you are responsible for the DCT filter change at 7,500 miles (±500).

I was told it’s attached to the warranty in the computer so not just 1st owner but so much we are told is wrong…

They'd tell you that you don't need to do a hydraulic system flush before you change the DCT filter...

I did not know it was only for the first owner. But I can tell you that my free service shows up as one of several applicable warranties. Mine is expired now so its listed under expired warranties. I thought it was considered a warranty item. That does not mean it transfers to the next owner necessarily, but I thought it did.
