C8 Infotainment Issues
I just want to know if anyone has apple car play issues with their C8 where it doesn't display who is calling and sometimes acts like there is a phone call but you can't hang up to get back to the music.
Did a search and couldn't find this issue so I'm starting a thread.

I only have about 6 or 7 experiences with my C8's Infotainment. I haven't answered a phone call with apple car play yet, but on two separate occasions while playing music from my iPhone using car play, the sound stopped working. Even if I use the buttons on the steering wheel to select the next song -- the next song would start by no volume. And the volume level was set high -- just no audio. i think I had to touch the screen or something to get it to work again. Was very weird.

try an infotainment reset. Idle the car in park, and hold down the phone hang up button that’s on the steering wheel for about 10 to 15 seconds, the whole display will go completely dark and then come back in about 10 seconds and will be reset. That cleared up a USB ID problem that I had
