Default Black valve stem mod

For years I've put heat shrink over my valve stems to black them out, anyone else do this or have a better suggestion?

You think there would be a market for sleeves that match various wheel colors

Also when swapping lug nuts I use a small peice of foam to protect the surface from marring

Great idea using heat shrink! Here's another way if someone doesn't have a heat gun.

I am pretty sure I saw that Discount Tire has black ones they can install for you?

Clever nonetheless

Your way seems to work fine. I get some black aluminum sleeves that fit over them.

Had never thought about using shrink wrap on the valve stems, but looks like it works just fine.

Great idea, what size shrink wrap do you use?

Owned a machine shop forever so I made nuts and had them black oxided and masked off and spray painted the valve, done this since the C5 days when the run flats first showed up, there was a company that offered black nuts in the early 2000's but they went out of business, and silver looked like crap on black wheels
