E-Ray Test Mule
Found this intriguing- This was not taken by me but posted on another group. Says it was taken recently. Being it’s an E-Ray and engine bay is covered over - new engine test mule? Ideas?

And why bother camouflaging it. Even if its a test mule for engine or trans changes or something, that isnt a thing someone could tell by looking at the exterior. If it is an eray this makes no sense. If it's a grand sport that would be cool.

Just because it is camoed and a test mule doesn't mean it isn't finished long term testing,
You would need the dash VIN to determine what it actually is.
A couple of years ago at Carlisle one of the engineers said they camoed the panels before assembly, so that maybe harder to remove so they just leave it on.
The engine could be covered because they are testing a new apperance package...
or..............

Could be any number of different things the car is being used for…. New feature testing, durability (maybe it has silly putty for transmission fluid… 🤣

Once the car has been camo covered could be as simple as its non value added exercise to remove it…. 🤷♂️
