Default 7.9 mpg

I think that's pretty good for a track day. I assumed it would be around 5 MPG with all the WOT in the straights. Now it's back to cruise control and 30 MPG.

Our 1969 Camaro with a 598 got 7.5 mpg just driving around nice and easy. The C8 is a planet saving wonder.

Once I actually floored the gas pedal when you were supposed to I went from 7+mpg to around 5. Funny how my track times dropped as my mileage went down.🙄 I could get away with one tank doing SCCA events where you’re only on the track for a total of an hour. Not when doing 2 hour track days. Time to get a 10+ gallon fuel can for those events.

Sounds like my 69 Sting Ray. I had to map out gas stations the MPG was so bad. The original range anxiety....lol

This event is about 10 minutes of track time per hour but with breakdowns it's a bit less and I ended up doing 5 track sessions.

I would say that mpg is pretty good considering a track day with a lot of WOT.
