I believe if you bring your C8 in within the first year the alignment is free of charge...That's what my Service Manager told me when they checked and realigned mine for free...
How often does everyone get an alignment on the C8? Is this both a front end and rear end alignment or just front end? Honestly, I haven't needed an alignment on a Corvette in ~30 years with the max miles I've put on a individual corvette was < 30K. Maybe I could have used one, but I go by tire wear and vehicle feel alone.
I always make a point to have my alignment rechecked within the first few months of ownership since it's not uncommon to find alignment off from the factory...This is also a free of charge service for new C8s within the first year ...At least that's what my Service Director communicated to me...
Especially when it's not out of alignment and you're just checking. $300 to attach the lasers, confirm good, take a 15 minute break, remove lasers -- done, $300 please.

The dealer I referred to has two alignment check machines (drive over type) which display results on a large screen, listed by vehicle and license number. Screen is placed by service writers so customer can stare at the red indicators if alignment is showing off (one for each wheel). They say their alignment cost is due to time it takes to remove protector plates from car. It is not a dealer I use unless only warranty work is to be done.
The car was 18 months old and we were back from a five week road trip across the beautiful highways between Florida and all over the Southwest. I thought it would be a good idea to have alignment at least checked. The rears were still within recommended specs. One front was out. Four wheel alignment corrected the out of spec and put all four closer to center of spec rather than “within” spec tolerance.
I paid $180 last month. Bear in mind this was more than a 'check if it's good' as I had them align the whole thing to exactly split the difference between 'factory spec' and 'track'. The car drives soooooo much better now. Tire wear should tolerable, we'll see.

Great advice which I always forget to do when I get a new car. Will do better going forward...
