When my 2021 c8 with 13000 miles is hooked up to a battery tender it only charges to second to last light. Is this anything to worry about? Should I purchase a new battery?

Also, you may want to consider that your tender is not working properly. Do you have a friend that has a tender that you could borrow to test if it does the same thing?

Sometimes mine does the same. Sometimes it goes to the last light and sometimes to the second to the last light. No worries
Get The Original Battery Tender !!! I Started using Deltran Battery Tenders starting back in 1987 with my first C4 Corvette and have had Batteries last 10 years
Just get a new battery ...Dont chance a 3 year old battery with this car.
Yep, what I would do! I measure my battery voltage periodically to detect when the battery is starting to get to a point of smart to replace. Far cheaper than getting stuck some where to buy a new one!
Made a simple device I plug into the Frunk 12 volt receptacle to check. I made it from an old Car Vacuum that didn't work. Cut off the VAC and installed a two prong plug. Connect my digital VOM to the plug. After ~12 hours, with car not started to drain any surface change read the voltage and keep the data. When it drops below ~12.8 getting time to think about a new one when conversant for me to change and when I see a sales etc. The exact value is not as important as watching for a change so need to check periodically.
