Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find a direct answer in the search. Is there an easier way to get my iPhone hotspot to auto connect so the CAR has wifi from my iPhone (not the iPhone having wifi from the car)? Seems like I have to open my hotspot in the iPhone settings every time to get the car to recognize it, even though the iPhone Hotspot toggle is always on.
Going out on a limb here but are you trying to use the hotspot as a work around to the my24 navigation subscription? If yes I figured you might be interested in knowing that you can download offline maps that will work without requiring a data connection.
Yes, but not really for the maps. I use CarPlay about 100% of the time. Just want it so I can keep the speed limit indicator on the HUD and the annoying not connected plan messages away.

I can’t help you with the annoying not connected messages, I just ignore those, but the speed limit indicator is an easy fix. You just need to download offline maps, the trick here is the factory installed app doesn’t let you do this, it claims you need a plan to do it. However if you sign into a google account and use the play store to update the app you will then be able to download offline maps.
So unless those data plan warning messages are more annoying than getting the car to connect to your phone I think the download maps is the path of least resistance.
To make your iPhone's hotspot auto-connect to your car, ensure your iPhone is paired with your car's Bluetooth and connected via Wi-Fi. This should keep the hotspot active without needing to manually enable it each time. Writing an essay under time pressure can be stressful, so I decided to pay for one at https://academized.com/pay-for-essay The service provided me with a well-written essay that was tailored to my specific requirements. The writer followed my instructions meticulously and delivered the paper on time. The quality was exceptional, with clear, coherent arguments and thorough research. I highly recommend this service for anyone needing a reliable essay service.

I still don’t see an answer to the question? Using the iPhone Hot Spot to connect to the Corvette as internet service?
It should just work and the Infotainment system should automatically reconnect to the iPhone's hotspot SSID. Whenever you start the car. It might take a minute or two but it should eventually connect. How long are you waiting for it to connect before deciding to intervene and forcefully select the iPhone's SSID/etc?
My 2020 will automatically connect to my phone's (Android) hotspot whenever the hotspot is on and it isn't connected to my home's hotspot. I use a tasking app to turn on my phone's hotspot when it connects to the car's Bluetooth and is charging.

The problem isn't with the car connecting to an SSID it's the iPhone hot spot. Even if you have the iPhone hot spot toggled "ON" if you don't connect within a certain amount of time after accessing that page in the settings it stops providing the SSID. SO to trick the phone I've created an automated shortcut that turns the iPhone hot spot ON after CarPlay is connected. This has been working well the past few drives.
