Yesterday at the chevy dealer I took the drive of shame...
I had gone to the dr. and parked in their deck parking...When I got back to the car I heard this high pitch warning sound..I could not figure out where it was coming from and thought it might be in the parking garage..I got outside and it was still going in the car..A very high pitch warning noise..I pulled over and checked the dash but no warnings at all, even checked my fob...The sound was there with the car on or off...Crazy...so I drove to the dealer...by then my ears were hurting...People were looking over at stop lites....weird..I pulled up and they asked what they could do for me...Then they noticed the sound....One of the young teck came over and he looked around to figure where the sound was coming from....
Hear it comes................HE reached in the side pocket and pulled out my small tazer I carry around for road rage people...Some how I had hit the alarm button I felt so stupid and everyone was amused...including me..
Any one else have something stupid happen to them???
Road Rage incidents must be pretty common in your area.
About a year ago I had a guy get out of his car screaming at me and started to come at me....buy the lite changed and he went on. I tried to say sorry for anything I had done and all I got is the middle finger..At 77 I am not fighting anyone..
I could carry a gun but no one should die over a car so I did the next best thing...Got a tazer....this thing will knock you down...Hope I never have to use it but it dose give me comfort ...now I just have to remember to keep it charged...
The crap that happens here in Charlotte is just crazy now, it used to be running lights or passing on the shoulder but now it’s so much more. I carry a gun, not taking a knife to a gun fight…
My 24' freaked out several weeks ago. There was a short in the horn circuit. Would blast the horn at 2am in the garage for 10 minutes then stop. MacMulkin needed to install a new horn assembly which includes the airbag so it took a week or so, but its all set.
Tech thought I was crazy and then it went bananas while he was 20 feet away holding the fob. They had to pull a fuse or disconnect the horn as it would not stop.
And yes I have squeezed a keyfob in my pocket when sitting awkwardly and set off the alarm more than once......
