Default Engine cover and window shield

Just wanted to show my latest bling on my HTC. I was very impressed with the construction and overall appearance of the new painted heat shield. It had an installed gasket and some heat shielding around the edges. This came from the RadiatorGrillStore and is supposed to be American made.

Would that color red be compatible with a car painted in Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat?

You can get it in Red MIst Metallic, so, yes. They can paint it in all the factory colors.

Hows the sound in the cabin? I don't mind the car being loud, it's a (quasi) Super Car, just wondering if you've noticed a decibel increase vs. OEM.

Not much difference, to me.

What does the underside of the cover look like? Does it have heat shielding like the OEM clear window cover has? I know this always gets beaten to death, but I don't want my convertible headliner to get any more exposed to heat than it should be, just for the sake of being able to see the faux engine cover through something clear once every month, but on the flip side, I'd like to be able to see something, so I'm always looking. Lol.

Thanks I’ll check them out. I currently have a silver one on my car that maybe I could sell in the classified section.

Yes, it does have strips of heat shielding, around the edges. It is not thick like the stock heat shield, but it does have some. The plexiglass window is bolted in and seems to be real sturdy. I won't be running with the top down
much, if at all. If it's a real concern, I wouldn't get an aftermarket window, I'd go with the OEM, rather pricey, and you don't see much. This is just some eye candy for me. The engine cover is purty, and I like to look!

I have the all clear RapidRev engine compartment cover. My wife and I noticed the slightly loader and desirable engine sound which is even more noticeable with the rear window down.
