Discount Tire has a company they use. Did a great job on my wife’s damaged wheel. $125 I think, but was a few years ago. Tire hit a pot hire and was out of round and has curb damage. Came back like new.
A previous thread discussed the value of PPF. "More important than the brand of PPF is the installer". Do your research with the installer before you buy. I had my new 2015 Z done. Sold it in 2024, not a mark on it. Got my 2024 Z done (both complete coverage), along with ceramic - under $6,000 at Clear Auto Bra in St. Louis. The ceramic makes it look like it's just been waxed. Will do it again when the Zora arrives. Just make sure the INSTALLER is reputable.
I would fix it even though it’s small because I wouldn’t want more corrosion getting in under the surface of the paint and such… wheel surfaces take a beating…
Every used car manager has at least three guys in his Rolodex that do this kind of work cheap… Go see the used car manager next time you’re in the dealership.
As others mentioned every dealer has a guy. Our local Lexus shop and box shop share a wheel, dent and touch up group. Wheel guy does lot of brand new cars. They do magic.
i actually was able to do my own repair on a minor scuff. Believe it or not they sell chrome nail polish! I was able to use that and buff it in with some light rubbing compound. That was for stock wheels.
I’m thinking this is from a rock. Is this fixable DIY or some shop?
This stuff is very good at hiding and protecting chips on rims, the person that has ceramic coated and performs maintenance details to my cars uses it and I have been very satisfied with the results.

Can't really see where the problem is. It it's that little black oval do it yourself! When relatively small can be an easy DIY, requires patience and time. Can handle with sand paper finishing with ~1500 grit.
Then Amazon has many touch-up Pens for wheels. Some by brand but range from Shinny Silver, Mat Silver to Black. If larger get a Pro. Some remove tire and have the right tools to can make it look new.
