Hey everyone. I'm looking to buy my first corvette and plan on getting one built to have it the color I want with all the options. Haven't went in to talk to the dealer yet, just been messing around with the corvette builder. Looking at a rapid blue 2024 stingray coupe with some different options and have some questions. First is for the people with coupe engine appearance package. How is it and is it worth the extra $1500. And second is I'm looking at adding the high wing spoiler in carbon flash along side the carbon flash ground effects kit. The ground effects kit is an extra $6700 and the wing is $1350. There seems to be a lot of other options just from doing a brief search that are way cheaper. So is the ground effects kit worth the extra $6700 or would I be better off not getting that option and picking up an aftermarket kit for way cheaper from like extreme online? Also is that something a Chevy dealership would do or is it something that i would be able to install myself. Attached is what I'm thinking id like to go for but any insight would be of great help since this will be my first time building and buying a corvette.
I have the ground effects kit from Extreme online, it's ABS plastic, painted to match the other flash colors. It's not as good, but it's literally 1/10th the price. It works, and looks good. It matches the high spoiler, which I got from GM for 1250, it's actually on sale right now, so perhaps don't add it to your order and buy it on the accessories site? you likely won't get yours until 2025 now anyways.
You can save about $375, on the black exhaust tips, with a spray can of Rustoleum “heat” paint. I’ve done that on previous corvettes and will do on my 24, soon. I like the standard Z51 spoiler, but pick what you like. Hard for us to say what extras are worth it, that’s your call.
Truthfully “we” like them in many different configurations but only “you” know what you like and can afford to buy. I’m sure when the dealer calls you to pick up your new C8, you will be grinning ear to ear.
