Default Wheels!

I've not been one to understand the fascination with wheels that I've observed here since I joined. Nothing against pro or con. I just don't get it. To each enjoy ife as they desire.

That said, I saw this Fiat 500 today and I finally found a set of wheels I would buy if I ever had this vehicle (never would). An actual? non OEM set that improves (adds to) the look - signifisignificantly. The picture doesn't do it justice though.

2 bonus points for guessing location. Lol.

lol, Orlando airport economy parking lot. BTW I appreciate good quality wheels on a sports car, not so much what the pickups are running these days.

Too many wheels out there that are way too busy or just generally look like flowers. IMO all of the stock wheels look pretty cheesy except maybe the E Ray wheels. I don't like the C8 enough to invest a bunch of cash on the wheels.

The base stock wheels are cast, ugly, and heavy. None of the wheel options were good and even the forged options are too heavy. In all cases the wheel offsets are just plain wrong.

Aftermarket wheels can, and in my case did, solve all of those problems.

Completely agree! The only thing the factory wheels are good for is mounting snow tires

I do actually like those wheels on that Fiat. Simple design yet pretty classy on
the car.

All subjective anyway... so, why not chrome Dayton wires? After all, they work on my '66 Excalibur step-in roadster; oh yeah, OEM on it.

I agree, I don't like any of the OEM C8 wheel options, got to go with aftermarket

Wheels make the car. The right wheels really make a difference in the look of the car.
I thought I would buy aftermarket wheels for my C8, but I have not found any that I really am crazy about yet.

Agreed, I can't believe how much people pay for those huge truck wheels and tires.
That has to be a gold mine for tire stores.

This is just my opinion but I have been modifying cars since 1991 and I think that wheels are the single biggest mod you can do to a car to improve its appearance ( as well as lowering). I've seen $500 cars that with the right set of wheels can look cool as heck!

Those Fiat wheels look like “moon” hubcaps which I always liked.
