Can the quickjack be slid under the body of a 24 C8 Z51 car without it catching or hitting anything underneath? I have a new 7000TLX unit and it seems pretty high to me so it would be close I think. I want to slide it under and be able to just back my car in and out of the garage without having to worry about this.
I have a 5000 TLX and it slides under just fine. My C8 is lowered 3/4" all around and the QJ slides under with no problems. I guess the question is whether the 7000 is significantly taller that the 5000? But if the C8 is not lowered I wouldn't think there would be a problem anyway.
7TLX is .5" taller at 3.5" than the 5TLX. I ordered a 7TLX for Labor day and it will be in Saturday so time will tell. However I did measure from the ground to my lifting pucks after lowering car and I had plenty of clearance. I don't remember the measurement but when i grabbed the tape and ran it, I was like plenty of room and didn't take an accurate reading. Z06 so not sure height difference between Stingray. But ideally measure ground to lifting point. QJ recommends around 4" ground clearance for the 7TLX
I have not used my 7000 on the C8 but I have used it on my 911 and there are no issues clearing sooooo, I am assuming that there is plenty of room under the 8.
I have the 7000TLX, it does fit under the 2024 C8.
I also bought the Quick Jack Glide Ride wheel kit on ETSY and it still fits, although you can't have anything in the trays, that sits above the level of the Quick Jack or it will hit the bolt heads on the bottom of the car.
Question for those familiar with Quickjack. Do you need additional accessories aside from what comes in the kit to lift a C8 without damaging it? First time user, no idea what to expect when I receive mine.
Nope, all you need are the rubber lifting blocks that come with it - short ones and tall ones. I use the short ones on my lowered C8.
P.S. This assumes, of course, that you already have jacking pucks - temporary or permanent - for your C8. It also assumes that you are talking about the TLX models (5000 or 7000), not the TL models.
My 7000TXL fits fine under the C8. I have aluminum fixed lift pucks and use the thin rubber block. I also bought the big truck frame blocks because I use the lift for everything.

I assembled my quickjack and added 5/8" and 1" dollies (.99 and 1.99 at HF) under the arms to raise the 7000TLX body about 3/16-1/4" to roll it around. With the 2 1/4" thick rubber blocks and my 3/4" pucks inserted into the body (which are loose fitting temps only and hang down another 1/4" until pressed up against the body) I still had about 1/4" of space available to roll the quickjack with the rubber blocks installed under the pucks.
If's a good thing I did order the 7000TLX and not the shorter body, With the rubber blocks in the trays and as far apart as they can go, my Corvette body pucks on both ends were only 1/4" in from the outer edge of the rubber blocks. The TL units would probably need the extension piece to raise a Corvette.
