Default Last ERAY Built?

Has 2024 Production ended? On what date? I only ask because according to the C8 Production Daily Dashboard, The last ERAY built on Sept. 10th is my VIN. That would be very cool if it's correct.

Not sure if this is what you are looking at, but according to C8 Tracker, it looks like there were 3 E-Ray with window stickers created on 9/11/24. These are the vins for those three cars: 1G1YM3D41R5501171 (HTC 3LZ), 1G1YM2D46R5501239 (Coupe 3LZ), 1G1YL3D42R5501246 (HTC 2LZ).

If yours is one of these, I'd say give it a couple of days to see if any additional cars pop up, then you'll know.

I'd rather have the first 25 than the last 24. The last 24 will be a model year old in a couple weeks! That will mean a lot in a few years.

Agreed...the only advantage is a year of no miles on the car.

The first VIN of a model/model year would be cool. Last VIN is meaningless.

People think all kinds of things are cool for a wide variety of reasons.

Tell that to Rick Hendricks who pays millions to have the first VIN of new Corvette models. Nobody pays extra for the last VIIN.

I get the collector side of the first vin, but I never buy a first-year new model until some of the kinks are worked out/known. That's why I waited until '23.

Rick is one person. Mortsciguy is another person. They can each think whatever they want to think is cool.

Thanks dads2k. I was not thinking in terms of "investor value", when I said I thought it would be cool, simply in terms of being the last lucky person to have his order filled. Novelty Value. Forgot how easy it is to get Flamed around here! Shame on me.
